Open the bottom panel of the fireplace. If the pilot light is not on, turn the pilot knob, then push and hold in. While doing that, press the red star like button in a few times until it ignites. There is also a high and low setting. The button to left side turns on the fan (and the switch to right of fireplace also needs to be turned on for fan to work). It helps to circulate the fire. (Please see videos below on how to operate the fireplace). When you are done using the fireplace, please turn off button and switch to turn off the fan. We do try to keep the pilot light on, during the winter months, for easier access of using the fireplace. PLEASE NOTE: Extended amounts of gas use can cause our tank to run low on propane which also operates our stove used for cooking. So, we ask that our guests turn off the fireplace when gone and prior to heading to bed. Pilot light can remain on.
We recently discovered that although the fireplace remote was lost by the previous owner, the fireplace can still be operated manually!
To turn on the fireplace, simply move the switch to the “ON” position. When you’re finished enjoying the fire, move the switch back to the “OFF” position.
